Water System |
|
The Glacier Springs water system is classified as a Group A public water system. It consists of a large capacity, sanitarily developed spring source, two concrete storage tanks and a distribution system pressurized by gravity. The spring and the tanks are located on property owned by the Department of Natural Resources, who leases an easement to the Association. |

New Water Tank in Service
- On 10/15/04 the Washington State Department of Health
(DOH) gave it's final approval on the new 49,900 gallon water tank.
This was the final step in this important upgrade to our water system
and the tank is now in service. |

| Water
Meter Installations - With the installation of the new water
tank, the DOH mandated that the Association install individual water
meters on new and existing homes/cabins. This will be used to gauge
"beneficial use" within the water system and will not be used for billing. At the AGM on October 29, 2005, Rick Benson, Glacier Springs water operator showed property owners how to turn off the new connection. Please refer to the documents below for more information or contact Rick Benson directly. |

Effective 1/01/05, a $400 "Water Connection
Fee" will be assessed. Upon payment of this fee, the water system
manager will contact you to schedule installation of a water meter. |
