Glacier Springs Water Wins Best Tasting Water Competition - updated 06/09/09

On March 25, 2009, water operators Rick Benson and Larry Watts met in Mt Vernon, Washington to compete in the Northwest Subsection American Water Works Association Best Tasting Water Competition. The annual competition included a dozen other water systems located in the Northwest. Larry brought the sample from Glacier Springs and the judges rated our water the best! As the winning system, we have bragging rights for a year. We received two commemorative plaques. One is for the association to keep, and the other travels each year to the annual contest. It's an honor to win this contest and you should feel proud that the water you have available in Glacier Springs really is unique. This was the first year that a ground water source won, (no treatment and not influenced by surface water) and it was also our first year competing. We are very grateful for our sponsors at American Water Works Association for being so helpful and inviting. We hope to make this an annual tradition!
